Q. How does the pricing work? Is the amount shown a weekly rate?
A. The pricing is for one week unless otherwise stated.

Q. What day will my ad run?
A. Your ad may run on any day during the requested run week. Wednesday and Thursday are very popular days for papers to come out.

Q. Will I only get responses from my ad during the week it runs?
A. Not necessarily, the free community papers have proven to have an extended shelf life. Past customers have received feedback months after an ad has run.

Q. What papers will my ad appear in?
A. The majority of our newspaper networks are currently made up of free weekly papers.

Q. Can I place ads into standard networks through Wide Area Classifieds?
A. Yes. We will do our best to get your ad into the market that you want to be in.

Q. Can I get a list of the newspapers that are in certain packages?
A. Yes. You can request a publication list by phone, fax or email for any package we offer.

Q. If I run my ad for consecutive weeks will I get better results?
A. Yes. The more times a reader sees your ad the more likely they are to call on it. Repetition gives your ad validity and a sense of trust to the reader.

Q. When is your deadline?
A. Our deadlines vary depending upon packages, but most of them, excluding the subscription papers; the deadline is Tuesday 11am CST for the following week.

Q. What payment methods do you accept?
A. We accept all major credit cards, checks, cashiers checks and money orders. When using a credit card, for the first time, you will be asked to provide a copy of the card (front and back). ALL ADS MUST BE PREPAID.

Q. Do our ads get placed online as well?
A. Some papers will place your ads online if they are able and some will not.

Q. Does Wide Area Classifieds share your information?
A. No. Under no circumstances will we release your information to anyone else without your consent.

Q. Can Wide Area Classifieds create special customized packages for me?
A. Yes. Simply let us know where you want to place ads and we will do our best to create a package that works for you.>

Q. Can I bold or center my ad copy?
A. This can be requested but not guaranteed. A lot of our papers will go the extra mile to make our ads stand out.

Q. Can I choose which classification/heading my ad will run under in the paper?
A. Yes. We will send your ads to our papers with the heading/classification that you request. We cannot however, guarantee that every paper will have the exact heading you want. If they do not have the heading you request, your ad will go into the next best heading.

Q. Does Wide Area Classifieds handle display advertising?
A. Yes, please contact us for details.

Q. Does Wide Area Classifieds provide proof or tear sheets to ensure the ad actually runs?
A. We cannot guarantee tear sheets from every publication. However, we can request them from papers and if they provide them free of charge we will send them to you via email or snail mail.

Q. What types of ads won’t you take?
A. This is handled on a case by case basis. We may require business documentation (license number, etc) to verify the validity of your company for certain ads.

Q. Am I able to cancel my ad?
A. All cancellations must be made prior to the deadline for the scheduled week. All ads cancelled after the deadline will not be refunded.
